On Wings of Love
O for wings that I could fly
into the blue
Then I would be in paradise
there with you.
O that I could soar above the clouds
into the sun
Where you and I could meet
and be as one.
O that I could travel through time
across the great divide
And spend precious moments
by your side.
O that I could climb into that dream chariot
each and every night
And slumber safely next to you
and hold you tight.
O that the distance in between us
was only a breath away
And we could reach and touch
today and every day.
O that time would stay forever still
when we’re together
Then there would be no parting
Not now, not ever.
