On Fathers Day
Dad it’s been so long since we talked
There’s so much I’ve to say
There’ve been so many changes
Since you went away
We’ve looked after Mum
But you knew that we would
We’ve each done our bit
As we knew that we should
We’ve got a few grandkids
We wish you could meet
There’s a new set of twins
Now that was a treat
Today as it’s Fathers Day
I thought that I’d write
To say that we miss you
And to say we’re alright
