When I first moved to France I had a Tibetan Terrier called Mindy. Although she was a pedigree dog she wouldn't have been allowed to enter Crufts because didn't fit into the Kennel Club standards. The reason being she had a brown nose! Mindy lived a long and happy life and was such a baby! This is her poem.

Little Lamb

Sleep softly little lamb
Beneath your quilt of green
Slumber gently, take your rest
Dream a little dream

Sleep softly little lamb
Your gentle ways live on
Lie down and rest a little while
Your race has now been run

Sleep softly little lamb
Your spring has come again
Eternal youth, eternal love
No suffering or pain

Sleep softly little lamb
What you’ve been waiting for
Lay beneath the starry skies
Dream on forever more

Sleep softly little lamb
You’ll never be forgot
The love you gave was endless
And we loved you such a lot

Sleep softy little lamb
So tiny as you curl
Beneath a tree in garden green
Our specially “good girl”
