Sometimes a relationship just isn't meant to be.
Very often neither party is to blame, it’s just the wrong two people together.
In many instances it is simply a breakdown of communications.
One of the saddest parts of a break up is when the recriminations start and the the happy memories get trampled in the mire. I guess it’s just human nature that we need to find someone to blame.
Sad really!
The Bitter End
He said “we” were made for each other
He said “we” should be friends
He said “we” should be happy
With a love that never ends
He said “we” should be together
He said “we” should never part
He said once “we” were over
He’d have a broken heart
She said that this would happen
She said that it would end
She said “we” couldn’t carry on
With her just as his friend
She told him it would happen
He couldn’t see the signs
He didn’t hear a word she said
But he read between the lines
She said that he’d be bitter
She knew how he would be
When “we” were not an item
But only “you” and “me”
